After knitting on a special highgaugeknittingmachine, the greige for Savina Minimax is shrunkenbothlengthwiseand widthwise to as much as 40% of itsoriginaldimension. It isnot treated with binders of any kind toachievesuch a denseconstruction. The resultant wiping cloth has ashigh asurface areaas 25,700 c㎡/g, thus ensuring dust removalwithoutreleasing anylint. Conventional wiping cloths have a surfaceareaof only 2,420c㎡/g.
