The Bird 4527 Series RFTHRULINE® Directional Wattmeter is a 19” panel-mounted versions ofthe Model 4331 for rack installation. It features 2 meters and 2elements for simultaneous viewing of forward and reflected power.The variable RF probe provides a low power sample of the signalbeing measured and is available at a female BNC connector on thefront panel, along with a control knob for adjustment. The sampledoutput can be connected to any RF signal monitoring device such asa frequency counter, spectrum analyzer, or oscilloscope. This modelis not recommended for use in the antenna line of combinedtransmitter systems due to the risk intermodulation productgeneration. Consult the factory for appropriate combinedtransmitter monitoring products.
